Sugaring, Sugar waxing or Persian waxing is a method of hair removal that has been in use since 1900 BC. Ancient Egyptians developed Sugaring using a mixture of oil and honey that was applied to the body, then vigorously stripped to remove the hair with it. It works a bit like waxing, but instead of using boiling wax to rip out those hairs, estheticians use a caramel-like substance made of Sugar, lemon juice, and hot water to pull your hairs out by the roots. Since it is completely made from natural ingredients, it is accepted by the skin which allows it to seep down and wrap around the hair follicle.
Why Sugaring?
The Sugaring hair removal method will allow hair to grow back more slowly and finer. The hair that grows back from waxing, no matter how skilled the technician, will suffer 10-15% more breakage than from Sugaring because of how wax dries and sticks to the skin. Sugaring never dries and the bulb of the hair is more easily removed. The Sugar seeps through the hair follicle, lubricating the hair to make the extraction easier. People who wax usually notice early regrowth and a lot of ingrown hairs right under the skin. With sugaring, there are less ingrown hairs and the regrowth comes in later and softer. This results in a better, gentler hair removal in general.
Sugar does not stick to or adhere to live skin cells. This means that using Sugar leaves skin exfoliated, hairless, and smooth. Wax often adheres to live skin cells, lifting skin and hair. Sugar is water-soluble and excess can be removed with warm water. It is gentle enough to go over the same spot multiple times without trauma to the skin. This means less chance of causing unnecessary pain! Sugaring hair removal causes the hair follicle to start depleting; meaning less hair.
Sugaring will never burn the skin. It is made from lemon, water, and Sugar. It will not damage facial skin tissue from long-term use. It can remove hair as short as 1/16th of an inch while wax can require as much as 1/4” regrowth. We can assist you in diminishing ingrown hair with Sugaring. You will feel soft and clean!
*The Sugaring hair removal method is hygienic and we use disposable gloves for every client. We use only the highest quality Sugar made from organic sugar, lemon, and water to make this the best service possible.
*New Clients: If you are new to Fabulously Flawless and/or new to waxing or sugaring and you have an important event to attend (wedding, anniversary, vacation), PLEASE remember waxing or Sugaring is not without issues for people. Histamine reactions (bumpy skin) are the most common and when steps are taken before and after sessions, they can be minimized or avoided completely. It is best to get at least 2 so that you know what to expect with your skin and how to take care of issues that may come up please remember to leave a 5–day minimum buffer between hair removal and scheduled events.

Eyebrow Shape Up:
Not your typical eyebrow service! This includes meticulous trimming, sugaring and tweezing (if necessary). We are very serious about eyebrows since we offer some of the best permanent eyebrows in the area! $20
Eyebrow Maintenance (2-4 weeks):
This includes eyebrows that need shape ups from their permanent makeup that have been done at least 2 weeks previously or they plan on scheduling 2 weeks after this service. $17
Full Face:
Includes basic brows, lip, sides of the face and cheeks. $45

Full Brazilian:
Removes hair to leave a landing strip, triangle or completely bare. Hair is removed from the labia, perineum, inner buttocks.

Full Brazilian plus Underarms:
- First-time clients: $90*
- Maintenance: $75* (returning within 6 weeks)
Basic Bikini:
Removes all hair outside of the underwear line.
- First-time clients: $35*
- Maintenance: $20* (returning within 3-5 weeks)
French Bikini:
More hair is removed than with the basic bikini. Removes hair 2 inches from the bikini line, hair up to and around navel and hair removal from the inner buttocks up to the perineum.
- First-time clients: $50*
- Maintenance: $40* (returning within 3-5 weeks)
Numbing Cream prior to service:
Numbing cream should be purchased and picked up before your appointment. Also, it needs to be applied per esthetician’s instructions prior to coming to your appointment. $15
Hungarian Mud Mask Post Sugaring: $15
A calming and soothing mud rich in calcium, sulfides, magnesium, humic and fulvic acids. It detoxifies and nourishes the skin, reduces ingrown, blemishes, and irritation. The mask is 100% natural and paraben-free. Used for post sugaring only.

- We offer a discounted maintenance price for all prenatal Sugaring when you book at the time of your appointment.
Prenatal and postpartum sugaring pricing varies because hormones cause hair to grow more rapidly and densely. Sugaring can be performed up to 34 weeks before labor as long as you have a low-risk pregnancy. We cannot take clients that are in the high-risk category (Pre-Eclampsia, Gestational Diabetes, previous pre-term labor, high blood pressure, etc.
